Soccermen Open Play Today in Trial Game With Boston

Dorman, Perry, Manheimer, Vincent and Motley Start for 1936


After five days of intensive drill on fundamentals and a scrimmage yesterday for the entire squad, Captain John Dorman's Varsity soccermen go into action for the first time today in an informal game with the Boston Professionals.

Coach Carr has named two entire trial lineups which he intends to alternate with further substitutions throughout the game. "A" team has five Seniors, three Juniors, and three Sophomores; "B", two Seniors, four Juniors, and five Sophomores. The game begins at 2:30 o'clock. The Harvard lineups:
