Forty Candidates Sign Up in Red Book Staff Competition

Thirty Heelers Will Be Accepted After Two Months of Work

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Thirty Freshmen appeared as candidates for the Red Book staff at the initial meeting Wednesday evening, and ten more have signed up since. Chairman Bunker explained the plan of dividing the heelers into groups, each of which will cover one sport; and cards were handed out upon which the candidates could express their preference as to the sport they would like to cover.

Thirty of the forty heelers will be accepted for the final staff some time in April. Last year the board was made up of exactly 31 men.

The competition, starting February 3, will last six or eight weeks. The Red Book will be published on May 15.
