FOUR LAST YEAR'S MEN BOOST HOCKEY HOPES

Starting its fourth week of practice this afternoon at the Arena, Coach Joe Stubb's 1937 sextet will be greatly aided by the return of Captain George Ford, Russ Allen, Ralph Pope, and George Roberts, who are expected to report for today's workout.

Already football man Austie Harding, center and captain of last year's undefeated Freshman team, and Tubber Carstein, defense man on the same sextet, have reported and taken part in several scrimmages. Bob Holcombe and Don Sleeper, soccer men, were likewise on hand for last week's two practices.

Win Jameson, Charlie Haughton, and Chink Fearon are Sophomore numeral winners from last year who will turn out in the next few days. Hopes for this year's team have been considerably bolstered by the showing Leo Ecker has made so far. A question mark because of his broken leg last year, Leo's injured member has withstood the constant scrimmages which are a part of the preliminary work the pucksters are now doing, and will apparently be ready to take his old position at right wing.

Clark Hodder's Freshman team will begin to take a definite form after the cut of last week when the large squad was pared down to a workable size.
