With the date tentatively set for May 22, plans for the Freshman Jubilee, traditional Yardling social event of the year, are rapidly being whipped into shape by the committee headed by J. Spence Harvin. Most recent developments are the appointment of R. Bennett Forbes as Head Usher and Phillip Brooks as Assistant Head Usher.
Forbes, a member of the '39 pole team, prepared at Milton Academy. He is a member of the Union Committee, served as ticket chairman of the Fall Dance and was co-chairman of the Winter Dance.
A graduate of Haverford School, Brooks was an outstanding member of the Freshman football team last fall. He also ushered at the Fall Dance.
The names of those chosen for the large corps of ushers will be released early next week.
