Jim Sullivan's Triple, Mal McTernen's Single Climax Crimson Attack; Tom Bilodeau's last Bid Fails

Coming from behind in the eighth inning Dartmouth's Big Green baseball team nosed out the Crimson 8-6 in a dog-fight game at Hanover yesterday.

It was Harvard's first defeat in Eastern Intercollegiate League Competition.

After changing hands several times the lead rested by one run in the Mitchellmen's hands going into the last half of the eighth. In their part of this frame Jim Sullivan had tripled with two on and scored on Mal McTernen's single.

At this point Ed Ingalls starting pitcher, was afflicted with wildness, issued four walks, and was touched for a single to let the home team go into its final two-run decision.

A last inning spurt by the Crimson was cut short as Tom Bilodeau lined into a fast double play which caught John Adzigian off second.
