RAIN TURNING TO SNOW WILL DAMPER 57,000 AT STADIUM

The 57,000 spectators who have paid as high as $50 a pair for their tickets for the game this afternoon will have to be prepared to sit through a minor snowstorm, the Weather Bureau said last night.

Rain changing to snow and much colder is the official report for today; but the snow will probably be little more than flurries and maybe the clearing that's due to arrive tonight will be ahead of time.

The cause of all this discomfort is a low pressure area which is spread over the entire Northeast.
