A newly uniformed Lowell five made its flashy dobut upon the courts of the House Basketball League today and pierced the hoop for 18 points to their Brooks House opponents' five. The Bellboys' outfit consisted of a blue jersey and white whipcord trousers with a blue "L".

The Dunster courtmen again forfeited their game, this time to Kirkland House.

The Lowell-Brooks lineup was as follows: LOWELL  BROOKS Abel, r.f.  r.f., Berkum Bates, l.f.  r.f., Lyons Adlis, c.  c., Gianino Walsh, r.g.  l.g., Corey Drimmer, l.g.  r.g., O'Dorinel

Substitutions--Lowell: Stearns, Culver, Maurice. Brooks: Firsoli. Referee--Joe Hill.

Bellboys League Leaders

The undefeated Lowell House hoopsters lead the League at the end of the first half of the series, although they were hard pressed by the fighting Adams quintet. The Gold Coast-Bellboy engagement was the closest one that the League has provided thus far, and it was a hard-earned victory that gave the Lowell House men the privilege of meeting Pelmont Hill School, whom they defeated last Wednesday.

There will be another outside game with the champion Dartmouth Fraternity on Saturday, February 23 for the team that is topping the list at that time, while the season will be climaxed by the annual encounter between the final House champions and the best Yale College team on March 9.

A great deal of interest has been shown in House basketball this winter, almost every House providing two full teams. Both the Bellboy and Gold Coast quintets have provided themselves with uniforms. The League standing for the first half is as follows: W  L Lowell  7  0 Adams  6  1 Winthrop  5  2 Brooks  4  2 Eliot  3  4 Dunster  2  5 Leverett  1  6 Kirkland  0  6
