J. L. Allen Wins Competition for '39 Baseball Manager

John L. Allen '39, of Newton, has won the Sophomore Baseball Managerial competition and becomes second assistant Varsity Manager. The remit was announced by Clifton F. Kann '37, present Manager.

Allen prepared at the Rivers School, and Deerfield, and is an editor of the CRIMSON. He will manage the Varsity team in his Senior year.

Martin A. Evers '39, of Cambridge came second in the competition and becomes second assistant associate Manger. Evers prepared at Cambridge Latin and will be associate Manager in his Senior year.
