Formerly under-secretary of State, William R. Castle will address the Freshman Class tonight, on "Trouble in the Far East" in the Lower Common Room of the Union at 7:30 o'clock.

An overseer of Harvard, Castle is now a member of John D. M. Hamilton's National Republican Committee. He was ambassador to Japan in 1930, and is the author of several books on the Far East.

There will be a question period after the lecture and interested Upperclassmen are invited to attend. Castle will have dinner with the Union Committee Dean Harvard and Dean Leighton before his talk.

This is part of a program of the Union Committee and its Chairman, Langdon Marvin, Jr., '41 to bring outstanding lectures to the Union during the course of the year.
