House football goes into its second round this afternoon when Leverett meets Kirkland in a contest which promises to be one of the season's highlights, and Eliot tangles with Dunster. The games begin at 3:15 o'clock, Soldiers Field.

The Rabbits will have to exceed last Thursday's performance, when they were outfought and tied by Eliot, 0-0, if they are to take the measure of Kirkland, defending champions. And such a possibility is unlikely.

On the other hand, the Bunnies have done poorly in recent scrimmages, largely due to poor attendance at practices. Also, injuries have taken their toll of Rabbit regulars, with 200-pound Walt Bass and quarterback Ollie Foote sidelined with minor bumps.

Newcomer Vin Freedley will start in place of Foote, and will handle the passing assignment. The starting lineup for Leverett is: Christianson and Dobbyn, ends; Hutchinson and Hollmeyer, tackles; Wilcox and Moran, guards; Burgess, center; and Hamill, Freedley, Rabenold, and Willard backs.

Kirkland boasts one of the league's best linemen in stocky Jack McClure, guard. The Deacons should carry the fight to Leverett with backs like Ray Moore, who galloped 80 yards on an interception last week, and Earl Foster, who has already scored twelve points.

Eliot should take a weak Dunster outfit in stride in the other game. The Elephants, boasting a fast backfield and strong line, have been strengthened this week by the addition of Biff Cunningham, husky guard.
