Dr. William A. Hinton of the Harvard Medical School will give a lecture on "Venereal Diseases: Their Treatment and Social Control" tonight at 8 o'clock in the Winthrop House Junior Common Room. The meeting is jointly sponsored by the Harvard Student Union and the Association of Medical students, an organization at the Medical School.

Dr. Hinton is the inventor of the Hinton Test which is coming into wide use in the detection of syphilis. he is connected with the Department of Preventive Medicine and Hygiene and also the Department of Bacteriology and Immunology of the Harvard Medical School.
