To wind up his campaign for election to the Brookline School Committee with a bang, Paul Korins '41 plans to give a "fireside chat" over the air Friday or Saturday. He has already distributed 9,000 pamphlets, printed tire covers and window stickers, sent personal cards to Brookline friends, and plastered bill boards of he town with "Elect Kerins for School Committee."
Chances Pretty Strong
The twenty-one year old sophomore felt that his chances for election "must be pretty strong because the school committee turned their annual report into a political manifesting." He said that the report was almost entirely devoted to disclaiming his accusation that it takes 45 percent of the high school students of Brookline five years to complete a four-year course.
Before the end of his starling campaign on March 7 Kerins will speak at four or five rallies a night during this week.
