Navy completely outshone her 11 rivals in the recent fencing intercollegiate at New York City, taking five of the seven crowns. The Crimson swordsmen could do no better than sixth place in the final three-weapon standing.

Group championships in epee, foils, and three-weapon fell to the U. S. Naval Academy, while Columbia captured first place in the sabre. In the individual championships Manzo, U. S. Military Academy, took first place, as did De Poix, Naval Academy, in the foils, and Campo, also a Midshipman, in the Sabre.
