For what will be the American premiere of Emlyn Williams' romantic comedy, "He Was Born Gay", the Harvard Dramatic Club is rounding into shape its fifty-eighth production. The amusing drama of Napolconic England will be presented at the Peabody Playhouse in Boston, on May 3, 4, 5, and 6.
First presented in England during the 1937 Coronation season, the play presents a new theory as to the fate of the Dauphin, son of the unhappy Marie Antoinette, and heir to the former throne of France.
William Manam '41 plays the masculine lead opposite Miss Ruth Gillerman, Radcliffe '41. Miss Winifred Wellington, well known Broadway actress, returns to the stage in her first character part.
