Freshman Golfers Prepare For Contest with Andover

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Coach Clark Hodder is completing preparations for the opening of the Freshman golf season on Saturday afternoon at Andever.

Although fourteen men turned out for first practice, Coach Hodder is not optimistic over the team's chouses, for, as yet, no man has shown exceptional ability on the links. The best score that has been turned in to date is a mediocre 83.

Peter Macgowan and Robert E. Massey have shown up better in practice than any of the others. The team will probably be composed of them and Frederick H. Chatfield, F. Douglas Cochrane, Elliott Taylor, and Harvey C. Taylor, Jr.
