HUPD Chief Says Harvard Yard Encampment is Peaceful, Defends Students’ Right to Protest
A noted traveller and director of the New England Museum of Natural History, Henry Bradford Washburn, Jr. '33, will speak on his explorations of Mount St. Agnes and Mount Sanford, Alaska, tomorrow evening at 8 o'clock in the Institute of Geographical Exploration.
His will be the first of two free public lectures to be held this week. The second will be given by Dr. Carleton Sprague Smith '27, chief of the Division of Music of the New York Public Library. He will speak on the "History of Music in America" at 8:15 o'clock on Friday in the Music Building. The lecture will be accompanied by the chorus of 16 voices.
