Deadline for applications for admission to the government's $40 airplane flight training course is today at noon in Pierce Hall, on Oxford Street, Dean Harald M. Westergaard, chairman of the university flight committee, announced last night.

A total of over 150 students have applied for the course, which includes 72 hours of "ground school" and 35 to 50 hours of flying instruction in the air, and which fits the student for a private pilot's certificate of competency.

Any students in the University are eligible if they are American citizens, aged 18 to 25, in good physical condition, and in good academic standing.
