The Jayvees set the pattern for the Varsity game Saturday when the battled to a 6 to 6 draw with the Army junior varsity squad on the soldiers Field practice gridiron.

George MacClellan tallied for the Crimson after a scoreless first period, going over on a reverse from the five yard line.

Army knotted the count yesterday in the fourth period when Curley looped an easy scoring pass to Polk.

The Lamarmen dissipated a first period scoring opportunity after Dave Fay, who started at right tackle, pounced on an Army bobble well in Cadet territory. Here the Crimson attack begged down much as did the Varsity later in the day and the West Pointers look the ball on downs.

Henry Vander Eb sparked the backfield, carrying the ball on spinner plays, kicking, and accounting for a number of interceptions.
