Peter E. Pratt Elected Class Secretary As 515 Choose Class Day, Permanent Class Committees

Coleman, Freedley, White, and Daughaday Will Head Class Day Group

515 Seniors elected Peter E. Pratt Class Secretary and chose the Class Day Committee of seven and the Permanent Class Committee of six in balloting yesterday and Tuesday.

This completes the selection of Class officers, the marshalls and other positions having been filled in the voting on February 29. The ivy orator will be chosen following a competition later in the Spring, judged by the marshalls and the Class Day Committee.

Athletes Predominant

Elected to the Class Day Committee, which handles arrangements for the Class Day exercises on June 20 were William C. Coleman, Vinton Freedley Jr., Samuel W. White, Jr., Charles D. Lutz, Jr., James D. Lightbody, Jr., Torbert H. Macdonald and Blair Clark.

The Permanent Class Committee of which the Secretary is an ex-officio member is composed of Mason Fernald, Douglas Mercer, Frederick Holdsworth Jr., William H. Daughaday, John F. Kennedy, and John S. Stillman. It is the permanent representative body of the class and handles reunion arrangements.

Pratt Headed Jubiles

Pratt whose home is in Milton makes his college residence at Senior House. As a Freshman he was head of the Jubilee Committee and played back on the football team. He did an Austrian polka in the Hasty Pudding show two years ago and was publicity director last year.

Following Pratt for Secretary were John G. Palfrey Jr., 116; James M. Banghart, 109; Donald C. Watson, 62; and Robert M. Robbins, 28.
