Johnston Will Speak At Busy School Today

"The Challenge of Change" will be the subject of a lecture given at the Business School tonight by Eric A. Johnston, president of the United States Chamber of Commerce. His talk will deal with war and post-war adjustment.

Johnston, who is now in Washington serving on the advisory committee of James Byrnes, national economic stabilization director, was formerly a West Coast industrialist and a captain in the Marines during the last war. He was graduated from the University of Washington in 1917.

This is one in a series of lectures offered by the Business School speakers committee designed to put before the business student problems of current and future importance, through prominent national speakers. The speakers committee in the last few months has also presented informal talks by members of the Business School faculty. Tomorrow, under the auspices of the committee, Jacob A. de Haas, William Ziegler Professor of International Relations, will address the students.

Tonight's lecturer will be introduced by Donald K. David, dean at the Business School. The talk will take place in room 100 Baker Library at 7:15 o'clock.
