Trackmen Make Poor Showing at Garden

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Of the five track men sent by Coach Jaako Mikkola, only Don McKinnon placed in the B.A.A. meet at the Boston Garden Saturday. MacKinnon, star hurdler, took fourth in a large field.

Wes Flint, another hurdler, won his heat but failed to show up in the first ranks in the semi-finals. Moe Young and Fred Carr, middle-distance speedsters, trailed all the way.

Bill Palson, thousand yard specialist and cross-country star, did no better than seventh in a field of nine against the Boston Athletic Association's conglomeration of national stars.
