LONDON, WEDNESDAY--Wendell L. Willkie started back home early today after a whirlwind 10-day tour of besieged Britain, leaving behind a parting message that the British are "almost miraculously fortunate" in having a man like Winston Churchill as their war leader.
Willkie files today to Lisbon, where be will board a clipper for the United States, to appear in Washington and support President Roosevelt's all-out aid the Britain.
