Course Credit for Work In Service Outlined by Dean

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Although there is no credit given for military service as such, courses which do not duplicate work previously accomplished in College courses will be counted for credit, if they are not of the trade school nature, and if a record of them is kept, Dean Hanford announced last night.

Anyone who has fulfilled the requirements for graduation with the exception of the necessary number of courses may receive a degree when he has acquired the required number. Even men who are not near a degree should keep track.

Exact details of the procedure have not been worked out yet, but credit will be given for work done in OCS, under the Army Specialized Training Program, and similar courses.
