53rd Teachers Association Meeting Will Start Today

Today the 53rd annual meeting of the Harvard Teachers Association will take place with 500 New England educators present. Juvenlle delinquincy, war veterans' training, Basic English, and social studies are the chief subjects to be discussed today.

Today's session will be climaxed by George D. Stoddard, of Albany, speaking on "Tertiary Education" at 8 o'clock in Sanders Theatre. "Federal, State and Local Responsibilities for Education" will be the topic of the general session tomorrow at 2 o'clock in the Commander Hotel. Tomorrow morning will be occupied by conferences on planning work and service experience for young people, problems in reading, educational administration, elementary education, and the teaching of English, social studies, and modern languages.
