"It's about time that the students of the United States caught up with the rest of the world."

With this declaration as their keynote, ten nominees plus the graduate appointee of the Student. Council Committee on International Activities thrashed cut a tentative platform last night for a national student union, in a round table forum over the Crimson Network.

Clifton R. Wharton, Jr. '47 acted as moderator for the group, and opened the discussion with a brief resume of the chain of events which have led to the Chicago conference.

The participants again emphasized the need for maintaining the proposed student union along strictly non-partisanlines.
