By failing to hit with men on bases and by making almost as many errors as base hits, the baseball team dropped a 10 to 3 decision to Boston University Saturday afternoon at Nickerson Field. The loss evened the series at a game apiece, the Crimson having beaten the Terriers 6 to 0 on May 4, when Joe Phelan let them down with three hits.

Although raked for 11 hits, and never able to keep men off the base paths, Jack Harper refused to crumble in the tight spots and lasted out the game. Meanwhile his mates touched Norm Wholley, Joe Phelan, and Johnny Knowles for 10 hits, and aided by seven Crimson errors and four walks, racked up 10 runs.

As far as the Samborskimen were concerned, by the third Inning the game was out of sight. The Terriers tallied twice in the first frame, and after being blanked in the second, drove three more across in the third. Single scores in the fourth and sixth closed the gap slightly but a B.U. run in the sixth and a big four in the seventh definitely salted it away.

Don Forte and John Coppinger, regulars last semester, were available for Saturday's game. Paul Butler started at short and newcomer Dave Farrell, who has looked good in recent practice, finished up. Jim Apthorp, who has been playing second in practice, started in right field.
