With a total of 62 men registered for the six events of the summer sculling regatta, Coach Blake Dennison and Edward A. Callanan announced yesterday that plans for renewing another of the University's pre-war athletic traditions were now completed.

The wherry class drew the most hopefuls, with 25 men slated to open the regatta competition with five elimination races scheduled for Monday at 3 o'clock. Men who place first or second i these trial races will meet i two semi-final races on Wednesday. The first two of each of the semi-finals will meet in the final race on Friday.

Medals

Men who place first or second in the first four classes of competition will receive silver or bronze medals. Winners in the fifth and sixth classes, the compromise and wherry classes, will be awarded oak plaques.

Callanan also announced that the races would feature a competition between Houses. He said that the system of points would give three points to the House of the first place man in each of the trial races, and one point to the House of each of the second place winners.

In the final races, points will be given for the first three positions: five for first, three for second, and one for third. Callanan said that in case a non-House man places second in any of these positions, the points would be distributed to the next House man.

Lowell House has the most entries, with eight Bellboys hoping to bring honor to the House. Kirkland and Leverett are next with six each, Winthrop, five, Dudley and Dunster, three, and Adams, two.
