Book and supply authorizations will not be granted to undergraduate veterans by the Veterans Office after Friday, when the staff in Weld Hall will begin preparations for an avalanche of business anticipated at the opening of next term.
Procedure for obtaining forms beginning February 4 after registration will be similar to that employed in September. As a device to get outstanding authorizations back to Weld 9 in time for final tabulation, those granted this week will be honored by Square book-vendors only on the day of issuance, according to the Book Office.
Graduates Not Affected
Graduate students, who are permitted to register early, may obtain texts for next term throughout the remainder of this month, while law school orders will be handled between February 10 and 15.
The Veterans Book Department requests undergraduates to complete all business with the office before Friday, for "they simply will not be given authorizations during the examination period."
