Twin teams from the Debate Council will tonight open this term's official debate schedule here and in New Haven on the subject of President Truman's reelection in 1948. The local end of the reciprocal discussion will take place in the Winthrop House Junior Common Room at 8:30 o'clock.
Representing the Crimson at home will be: Richard T. Gill '47 Edwin J. Jacob '47, and Melvin L. Zurier '50. The trio sent by the College to New Haven will include: Edward F. Burke '50, Frederick D. Houghteling '50, and Paul L. Wright '49. The topic has been announced as "Resolved, That President Truman should be re-elected in 1943."
The Debate Council disclosed plans for future meetings with Oxford University and Dartmouth. It was also announced the WHRV will broadcast tonight's debate.
