Conant Tea Sequence Broken at Long Last

Faculty members will go without their monthly tea at President Conant's house tomorrow for the first than in 14 years. The president will be in New York for the dedication of the Harvard Club's war memorial plaque.

During the war years, when government duties carried him throughout the country, President Conant nevertheless managed to keep unbroken the string which he will snap with an empty hoe tomorrow.

The President's House is located on Quincy Street at the east fringe of the Yard, near Emerson Hall.
