Union Debate Held

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Denial of freedom of the press and of radio to those inciting racial hatred or advocating the overthrow of the United States Government was the subject of a non-decision debate sponsored by the Union Debate Society in the North Common Room of the Union last night.

Upholding the affirmative were Oliver K. Burrows '50 and Charles H. Tilly '50, while E. C. Sterling McKittrick '50 and Christopher Moore '50 defended the negative. Following the debate, an impromptu discussion of the topic and related matters was held.
