Norman Thomas, five times Socialist candidate for the Presidency will address a meeting sponsored by the Society for Industrial Democracy at 7:30 o'clock tonight in New Lecture Hall.
Speaking on the subject, "Political Programs for 1948," Thomas will discuss the current United States political situation and the shaping of events for the forthcoming presidential campaign.
In addition to his political activities, Thomas is a profile author, having written numerous works, including "America's Way Out-A Program for Democracy" and Human Exploitation.
Tonight's meeting is the first of a series that will be presented by the Society for Industrial Democracy during the coming term, Thomas R. Brooks '30 President of the group, announced last night. These talks, Brooks stared will be of a non parties, educational nature.
