Annex Blood Will Flow...

An all-out drive to get Radcliffe girls to donate their blood to the Red Cross is being conducted by the Annex Community Council.

Under the leadership of Betty K. Heaton '51, president of the Council, Radcliffe girls are being urged to give their blood next Monday and Tuesday at Phillips Brooks House.

This year's concerted drive to get blood is a sharp turn-about from last year; when, though many Annex students did give their blood, the drive was conducted without outside encouragement.

In addition to its part in the blood-letting the Community Service Council is also conducting drives for the Community Chest and for settlement houses.

All dormitories and off-campus houses are being solicited to raise funds for the Community Chest campaign. Meanwhile, the Council is also trying to sign up volunteers to do social work in various metropolitan Boston settlement houses.
