Left Bank Club Seeks Girls for Production

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Cambridge isn't Paris, so free women with a knowledge of French are harder to find around the Yard than on the rive gauche, but that isn't hindering the French Club.

The organization has to fill three female leads in its forthcoming production of the comedy "La Bal des Voleurs," as well as other assorted roles for men and women. Tryouts are being held from 2 to 4 p.m. today in the Shepard Room of Phillips Brooks House, and the same time tomorrow in the Chapel Room of PBH.

The play, which will be produced some time in the spring, is by Jean Anouilles, a modern French playwright famous for his version of "Antignone." Roles are not limited to members of the club, George Vicas, president, said last night.
