Former Professor Invents Personality Rater

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Nickel slot-machines that can analyze your personality are just around the corner, now that Eliot D. Chapple '31, former research follow in Psychology, has perfected his Interaction Chronograph.

Designed primarily to aid employers in selecting satisfactory employees, the machine does an amazing job of sizing up potential foremen and bosses.

Housed in a desk-sized metal cabinet and operated by one observer, the machine records the various speech patterns of subjects being interviewed by prospective employers.

The personality analysis is computed on the basis of who talked for how long, who was responsible for interruptions and silences, and who broke these silences.
