Prowler 'Victim' Testifies at Trial

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Francis J. Gallagher, suspected of being the prowler who terrorized Radcliffe last month, heard one of his alleged victims testify against him in the first day of his trial Saturday. He is being tried specifically for the attempted rape of Dorothy Drohan of Cambridge.

Miss Drohan identified Gallagher as the man who followed her off a street car, chased her down Massachusetts ave., and attacked her in the driveway of her home. She testified she offered him her pocketbook, thinking he planned to rob her, but he threw her to the ground. Her screams attracted neighbors and frightened him away, she told the court.

If convicted, Gallagher may face trial on other charges, police officials said last night.
