The freshman nine's defense fell apart again, but the Yardlings rallied for four runs in the ninth inning to down Worcester Academy, 8 to 7, in Worcester yesterday.

Spider Webb gave up only one earned run in the first seven innings as the freshmen committed nine errors for the second time this year. Dusty Cook shut out Worcester over the last two frames.

Ben Akillian led off the ninth inning with a single. Charlie Walsh grounded out, Jack Donelan and Bill Hickey singled. Al Switzer got on through an error by the shortstop. Charlio Cabot doubled in the tying runs, and Cook brought Switzer in with the winning run on a squeeze bunt which went for a single.
