Robert Anderson, Foreign Service staff officer, will speak at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Union on "Careers in the Foreign Service."
Anderson began his career in the State Department only four years ago and is familiar with the entrance requirements and opportunities in the State Department's Foreign Service program.
Appointed to the Foreign Service as an auxiliary in 1946, Anderson rose to a position as assistant attache in Nanking inside of a year. He returned from the Far East only recently.
The talk is sponsored by the Office of Student Placement.
