Meyer Calls Korea Aid To World Government

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

"America's containment policy in Korea will help to force Russia to consider the possibility of a world government," Cord Meyer, Jr., Lowell Junior Fellow, told 50 New England high school students at a weekend conference sponsored by the World Federalists in Phillips Brooks House.

Meyer, honorary president of the United World Federalists, added that the U.S. must stress world federation as the goal of containment in order to avoid another world war.

Rupert Emerson '22, chairman of the Government Department, doubted that the United Nations at present was equipped to take over the task of enforcing the laws of world government on nations and individuals.
