John K. Fairbank '29, professor of History, will lecture on "The Background of the Korean Crisis" at the weekly meeting of the Harvard Dames in Phillips Brooks House at 2:45 p.m. today.

One of the University's leading authorities on Far Eastern affairs, Fairbank recently said that Communist China's intervention in Korea is largely based on a fear that this country has aggressive designs towards China.
