Four lettermen will start the basketball team's first scrimmage of the year against, the University of Connection, at Stores tomorrow, but Captain Ed smith will be unable to play. Smith, six foot seven center, pulled a muscle last week, and will be taking it easy for a few days.

The starting guards will probably be Gerry Murphy and Bob Bramhall, while Bill Hickey and Jim Gabler will open at guard. Jim stephenson, who is not a letterman, will replace Smith at center.
