Women may visit House rooms today or the Saturdays of the Brown and Yale games without being signed in, the Housemasters decided at their last meeting. In addition, women will be allowed in the Houses at 11:45 p.m. on these days instead of the usual 1 p.m.
David M. Little '18, Master of Adams House, said last night that the sign-in requirement has been waived on Yale weekends in previous years, but that he believed this is the first time that such a provision has been made for other weekends.
Several House superintendents said yesterday that they had not been notified of any change in the rules.
Two weeks ago, the Housemasters rejected a proposal by the chairmon of the House committees to extend the deadline on women guests until midnight on the Dartmouth and Yale game nights, A student committee, including three members of the Student Council, is currently investigating the entertainment problem.
