Conflicting Testimony Holds Up Police Report on Brickman Death

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Conflicting testimony has delayed a new police report in the death of Jeremiah Brickman 2L, Captain of Defectives Patrick F. Ready said yesterday. His burean can has been unable to find any evidence showing whether or not an attack caused the students death.

Brickman died October 28 from a subdural hemorrhage and a fractured skull supposedly received October 26.

Evidence is Contradictory

Ready said that, after questioning everyone associated with Brickman around the time of death, detectives found many facts which contradicted earlier testimony. He would not elaborate.

Rejecting the first police report on the case, Assistant Medical Examiner Michael A. Luongo asked for a new one, Ready stated, because Luongo thought that Brickman's brain condition as shown in the autopsy indicated that "he was struck with something."

If police cannot get now evidence for the report by next week, and if the Medical Examiner still is not satisfied with existing facts, then polled will start an inquest, Ready stated.
