College to Convert Dudley into Offices

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Dormitory rooms on the second and third floors of Dudley Hall will be converted into office and research space next February, Associate Dean Watson's office announced yesterday.

Letters will be received this morning by the 30 or 40 men presently living in the suites. They will be told that with the usual mid-year drop in enrollment, the present Dudley residents will be accomodated in the Houses or in Claverly and Apley.

Just what offices will fill the converted space has not yet been decided. Several small office buildings north of the Yard will have to be destroyed if the proposed General Education and Science buildings are constructed. A need for additional office space has existed for some time, but has been increased by these proposals.
