The '53 hockey team played its best game of the season as it fought a heavily-favored Boston College freshman sextet to a 2 to 2 tie Saturday night at the Arena. The Yardlings lost to BC two weeks ago by a 9-1 score.
Captain Amory Hubbard drove in the first goal for the Crimson on a pass from Walt Greeley, and Jim O'Brien scored the second unassisted. Nate Corning, playing behind an improved defense, played well in the Harvard goal with 26 saves. The game had three 15-minute periods and a five minute overtime.
