Its exam-time layoff over the Crimson hockey team skates hack into action tomorrow night against BU at the Arena with a team lacking two big punches.
Both forward Bill Garrity and defense man Algie Allen were graduated at midyear, and the loss of those two men, along with defense man Steve Howe, has left big gaps. Garrity was leading the squad in goals scored (13), and Allen was first-string left defense.
Coach John Chase, whose three-weekly practice sessions have been pretty well attended throughout exam and vacation period, won't name a starting lineup until this afternoon's Arena workout.
So far this season, Harvard has won five and lost four.
