Eliot Quintets Topple Adams

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Mickey Burrows of Eliot broke through for a last-minute basket yesterday at the Blockhouse to give the mastodon A League basketball team a 36 to 35 win over Adams. The game was tight all the way, with the Gold Coasters leading at the half by three points.

Eliot's B League team handed a similar defeat to Adams, 25 to 24, although Adams led by a point at the half. Harry Guild and Lyman Hall had the height that gave the Elephants control of the backboards through most of the low scoring game.

The final round of the House boxing championship was postponed until 7:45 tonight.
