Monday, March 20, will be the deadline for applications by war orphans who would like to attend an international conference on the Atlantic Pact, Wellington F. Scott '49 1L, chairman of the selection committee, announced last night.
A joint committee of American Veterans Committee, American Legion, and Veterans of Foreign Wars will send six American delegates to the Brussels Conference which is being sponsored by the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
To be eligible for a delegate's position one must: 1) be a bona fide university student; 2) have lost a parent in the war; 3) procure a recommendation from university authorities; 4) attach a small photograph and a hand-written note attesting to the included information.
Applications should be made to Scott at 8 Storey Street, Cambridge.
