Radcliffe Asks for NCAAP Chapter

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A petition will be presented to the Radcliffe Student Council today for the establishment of a Radcliffe chapter of a National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Twenty-four girls have said that they wish to join if the charter were granted.

The purpose of the organization is "to inform students of the problems affecting American Negroes and other minority groups; to stimulate an appreciation of the contributions of these groups to American civilization; and to point out injustices done to people of minority groups."
