Dudley defeated Saybrook College of Yale, 7 to 0, at New Haven Saturday to win the Harvard-Yale intramural baseball championship. Ed Snow of the Commuters stymied Saybrook, letting only one man reach third base, striking out eight, and giving up only three hitz.

The Soals gave Eli pitcher Bill McGavern poor support, and McGavern himself had trouble with his control. Dave Gilbert, Jim Garvin, and Ed Cass led Dudley with two hits apiece.

At the same time, Adams defeated Saybrook in golf, 3 1-2 to 1 1-2, at the Dedham Polo and Country Club to gain another Crimson leg on the Harkness Trophy, awarded each year to the school winning the inter-college intramural competition.

For Adams, Dick Concannon won, Clark Robinson halved, Bob Remis lost, Jim Maxwell won, and Ben Watkins won.

On Friday the Eliot crew, winner of House competition, lost to Jonathan Edwards College in a 7-8 of a mile race at New Haven.

Today at 3 p.m. Matthews North and Lionel will meet for the softball championship of the Yard. The House track championships start today with the field events.
